For the sake of this post, let's measure time in school years.

Today I went to school to finalize my enrollment for the coming school year. I'm going back on Friday to attend the orientation for the summer management internship program. Clearly, my summer break is almost over. So, before it ends and YL6 starts, let me take a moment to remember the beautiful year that was.

It wasn't all pretty and exciting, I tell you. There were days when I was too bored to pay attention in class, when I was clamoring for vacations to come faster, when I missed my Georgia too much, when other things outside of med school seemed more interesting, when exams made me question whether or not I really wanted to pursue a career in medicine... But I like to believe that I'm a better person now compared to when ASMPH was still just a dream for me, and I don't just mean it academically. And what's equally exciting is that I went through that growth and I will go through so much more with the awesome people I call friends.

P.S. I haven't gotten around to deciding what it is but there's bound to be a reason why I haven't deleted these yet. (Maybe, just maybe, it's simply because I think they're pretty enough to stay around.)
